Sold in a flash....and to a fine fellow too...I'm glad this is staying in the "family".
This was Jonathan Koch's personal 6139-6002 watch that he modified.
It was recently serviced by Spencer Klein and is running great.
The watch includes one of Jonathan's East Tech H-link bracelets....the bracelet is in very good condition.
The following description is from the original sales ad:
"Case: Original 6139-6002 case set was refinished by Jonathan Koch at the time of initial build back in 2011. The case lines are nice throughout, the topside surfaces have been properly rebrushed and the remainder of the case was repolished. there is very minor evidence of daily wear as this was Jon's personal watch and worn quite often.
Bezel: The white tachy ring is a one off custom created by Jonathan himself, I'm not familiar with the process in which he used to make the ring, but it appears to be encased in a clear epoxy and feels like very hard surface.
Crown: OEM crown functions smoothly and rotates the inner ring as it should
Caseback: has been sterilized by Jonathan, I am also including an additional orginial 6139-6002 caseback should the buyer choose to have Seiko markings.
Crystal and gaskets are new throughout
The 6139B movement is exceptional and was completely rebuilt/serviced and regulated by Spencer Klein. The amplitudes are phenominal and range in the mid 250's. The watch keeps excellent time. Just FYI, The cost of one of Spencer's 6139 services runs in the $150 range.
The dial, inner ring are aftermarket products, the hands are original Seiko oem
The watch will come on one of Jonathan's East Tech reproduction H-Link bracelets."
