I picked up this beauty in a $50 aud BIN with a Casio remote control watch. I didn't think much of it as it wasn't running and I had a nice day date ETA movement I could probably PPP in it. I was talking to a fellow Aussie WIS who suggested I should keep it as it was as it has the same cases as the Heuer 1000. Sure enough it's imprinted with a Brevet 503.305 stamp on the inner caseback. I will keep it as is but thinking about bands. Whilst I love stainless steel I think it would be to much on this watch. And the current soft diver is nice, I would love a tropic sport without the price. They are also quite thin, I have an 18mm on my Movado electronic. Wondering if there is a decent soft tropic sport ish band out there with a 20mm lug width. Cam

Tropics are hard to get at a reasonable price. You could go Hirsch?

I saw Hirsch, although that looks leather ish is it. I've seen a divers silicon or rubber band on some 6309's it's got some nice square spacing instead of the tropic style holes that would look good.

Try Bonetto Cinturini models 295 or 296. Real rubber not silicone and a pleasant vanilla smell too
