Hello, It has been awhile but I am still seeing if it is out there, I got my seiko stolen during a high school track team in San Ramon, California. I got my seiko 6105 watch stolen from me and have been trying to find it since. It was during a high school track meet and i believe someone took it from my bag. That watch was passed down from my dad and means so much to me and him. It really sucks to loose it and would love it if someone either found it looking for something or the thief actually gives it up. Either way i would love to have it back and i am more then willing to be compassionate about it. It has scratches on the back and front on the watch and is on a velcro band. Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have any back photos or the serial number as my dad got it back in the late 60's. But i can tell you that it has multiple deep scratches on the back near the latches to open the back. It got beat up when being opened one day for a cleaning. As for the band it is white and black with some design. It is dual layered with the main that makes contact with your skin then the design that can be seen. The end of the Velcro near the end of the band is faded and part of it comes off but not much. I found a few pictures of myself wearing the watch and you can see it but not so well. I just never thought it would get taken so i didn't see the use in taking pictures of it. Thanks! Attachments:

I work in San Ramon, are you also from this area? I have a Craigslist alert set, and haven't seen any 6105's listed for sale. Some better pics would definitely help, any better shots of the actual watch itself?

I do wish you the best of luck as I'm sure the sentimental value of the watch is huge and the loss very painful.
Without the serial number or some other unique identifier (the scratches on the case back probably won't help as that is probably a very common thing and the strap could be changed very easily) it will probably be very hard, if not impossible, to find and identify. Unless the person who took it gets a conscience attack, you've really fighting an up hill battle. Seiko made quite a lot of this model and they are now very popular and collectible among vintage Seiko fans. Prices are going up so you may want to go out into the market now and bag a copy so you at least have one to remind you of the one Dad gave you.
Best of luck in your quest!

Hope you find it but without a serial number it would be impossible to prove it was yours.
What was the date that is was stolen?
If it was stolen from a high school track meet it was most likely done by someone under 20 years old who would most likely sell it to the first person he / she ran into who would offer them some cash.If you had been showing it around and mentioning it was valuable you may have been targetted at which point it may be in a pawn shop or somewhere online for sale. I'm sure the band is long gone. How severe were the scratches on the caseback? Good luck and I will keep my eye out for you.

I am currently looking to see if I can get the serial number somehow, looking high and low for it. But some dude literally went into my bag on the field and took it, i dont flaunt the prices of those things to anyone just because of the risk. As for the back if it were to be seen it would be obvious that someone tried to open the back as the scratches are deep. Majority on the screwback and a couple on the body of the watch. The crystal is pretty beat up as well. But generally that is what I am thinking is that someone grabbed it and sold it to some random dude. But i still want to keep some hope in getting it back.

Hopefully you can get the serial number of your watch. Once you have it, get the news out, give other people a heads up of what occured.

Sounds like we may all need to record the serial numbers of our watches. (For some that may be a multiple-day event.)

I guess it is a good idea to take pics of my front and back of my Seikos....

So we are looking for a watch that may or may not be missing and that may or may not be yours, from a person that doesn't want to be identified and hasn't replied to any of his posts, did i miss anything? well I've stopped looking..

I have been searching up and down for evidence that relates to back to the seiko watch I DID loose. All I was able to run into was this photo that can be seen easily with the watch on my wrist. The attention is more to the wrist band which all I have really going for me at the moment. I know there is chance that I will never see it again, but there is no harm in trying to recover it.
