I used to be a VERY avid collector of cigarette lighters and tonight I was rummaging thru a box of them looking for something to sell to help finance a watch purchase I want to make and found this one that I had forgotten I had......
It's a Ronson Typhoon model that my Mom and Dad bought me when they visited me during my brief stay at Camp Pendleton shortly before my deployment to Vietnam.
It was purchased in 1968 ..
I popped in a fresh flint and some fluid and she started right up! thunbsup.gif
I guess this will be my daily lighter for awhile now.
