Up for sale today is my all original, one owner Seiko 7002-7039 Transitional Diver. I bought this watch in 1995, my oldest son was a year old at the time. I'm not going to fill this up with a lot of technical jargon, mainly because I suspect if you landed on my listing it was because you were looking for this piece.
This watch is a great example of an everyday wearer. It's coming to you completely original and without a need for service in its life up to now. It's running a bit fast at times. If it were seeing a good amount of wrist time it would do better for sure,(I'm currently wearing it for a few days during this listing to be able to put my NAME on a quality sale to someone) if I'm not going to wear it, then I'd like it to land in a collector of Seiko Divers hands ..... my growing collection pushes each piece a bit further out of rotation. It's still quite wearable!!! Yet as with anything 20 yrs old, it would be smart to figure in a service.
I did plan for a bit of an ..... As we say in my business ( an oil, lube, and filter ) job. I'm including a new Seiko OEM Jubilees bracelet, new crystal with an extremely hard to source OEM crystal gasket.
The black insert is original and in great shape, a few character marks on it but like I said its "character" adding.
The dial and hands are 1000% original and aging exceptionally well, this watch is not one of these FRANKEN SEIKO's that are all over eBay ..... This is a hard watch to find, there's not a lot of them. Lume still works quite well
But I do think it's because I've ensured that while I didn't need to have a servicing of the movement, I did have regular pressure checks .... I'm a compulsive swimmer and I swam and do swim in ALL of my watches. SO YOU CAN REST ASSURED THAT IT WILL ARRIVE TO YOU WATER TIGHT AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE LAST PHOTO, IM NOT WORRIED AT ALL ABOUT WATER TIGHTNESS. MY FEEDBACK SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW.
