I was doing some research on the history of Seiko 5 and stumbled on this page at Seikowatches.com This looks a lot like the 7006 rally diver range but that dial? I want one!

That's really hot. You can get them, but they are fought over. It's a 5126 movement. They're uncommon but a really good movement.

That's really cool. Who's going to bid on it? I won't be. But would like to know the outcome.

Very cool find Cam (and Thomas). Tempting to bid on the yahoo.jp auction but I think it'll go beyond my limit.

I like that one.
The strip on the dial and the 2 color chapter ring bring the complete look together.

But who decided a red second hand on an orange dial was a good idea?

But who decided a red second hand on an orange dial was a good idea? Is it a sports timer thing or a 70 resist/proof thing the 6106 Orange sushi has it too.

On the yahoo.jp auction example the red hand has faded to orange on an orange dial. Me thinks a black hand would have looked great.

In reference to the yahoo.jp auction I can't read Japanese... I read 350 AUD +\- (35000 yen) is it completed or still going?
