Seller was on the other side of the state, but we agreed on a price of $75 and he shipped it to me. It's a JDM 27j Bell-Matic 4006-7012, and dates to April, 1975. How do I know it's JDM? Because it has a JDM bracelet (XAB 021) and has no removable links. Instead, it came from the factory with a spring-loaded bracelet extender, as is often seen on mid-70s JDM models like Speed-Timers. I love the looks of this model, but I love the -7012 version in particular. The earlier -7010, -7011, and -7019 all use the 55 W06 crown. This is one of those crowns that is sealed internally...ala the 6105...and is meant to be replaced. The -7012 uses the 55 M06 crown, which is the same crown found on all 6138s save for Bullheads. It is easily resealable. Watch is in fantastic shape, and runs like a top. Even the gaskets were good. The crystal was nice, but had a little crazing so I replaced it. First pic is the seller's, second is mine.

Well done !!! We have similar here, it's called Gumtree and it's total crap tbh. I do have a soft spot for Bell matics. I don't know how everyone keeps finding all of these Seikos on Craigslist. Agreed. The only Seikos I see are junkers for new price. I've never seen a good one at all.

A early Sealion on Stelux bracelet came off gumtree... and I've had one yellow dial pogue from there also but I did pay top money for all these watches. They were just nice examples of rare models.
