This is my second purchase from Eric at the Antique Watch Bar. Here is his trademark hermetically taped up box! I think he has stock in Bubble Wrap Corp as well! I see a watch "nested" down in there. I saw this 1962 Seiko Liner at the Antique Watch Bar, and it is such nice example, and since I didn't have a Liner model for the "Museum", I decided to grab this one while I could. It has a 21 Jewel hand-wind Diashock caliber 3140 running at 18,000 bph. This watch comes for the era of the undeclared war of "Who Can Make the Thinnest Movement?" Here are some of the important battles in that war: 1958 -- 3.65mm [Citizen Deluxe] 1960 -- 3.35mm [Seiko Liner] 1961 -- 3.25mm [Citizen Hi-Line] 1960 -- 2.95mm [Seiko GoldFeather] 1962 -- 2.75mm [Citizen DiamondFlake] I also like the small minute markers around the edge of the dial, and the nice long hands. The side with the tiny crown. The thin mint other side. The signed case-back. And on my wrist. I appreciate the simple, no date / no day styling. And at 35.5 mm in width (w/o crown) it wears large. I'm glad I bought this before I went crazy on Yahoo Japan! It's a sweet simple watch. Thanks for looking! - Thomas
