I haven't made any purchases in quite some time, I guess nothing has really gotten my attention. Perhaps I'll take this time to get a few important pieces serviced, instead of acquiring more. I don't think many of us invest in servicing, as much as we should.

I'm with you Tim. I keep building a watch fund by selling off a few bits and pieces and swearing I will get some pieces serviced, then I find something at a price too good to refuse and the fund is drained. I blame my watch guy, he's had two of my watches for 10 months and I won't give him any more until those two are done.

My current motto is **NO MORE PROJECTS**.
I have like 30 watches that are untouched that need doing, and I'd rather put money into the parts hoard.
Until I find the next bargain......

It's frustrating when the turn times for service are too long, makes you not want to send any others out. My current motto is **NO MORE PROJECTS**. I have like 30 watches that are untouched that need doing, and I'd rather put money into the parts hoard. Until I find the next bargain...... It's always that tempting bargain that puts us over the edge, I guess that's why I haven't been looking. I am getting the itch though, so I may need to rectify that.

Over the last 12 months I have purchased some nice pieces but also got some of my favourites serviced as well. Trying not to buy anymore watches for now and get the bank balance up. Although I do have two more divers that will need Adrian's eye on them but later for now.
Cheers Mark

I have 4 that need to be serviced and have some restoration work done on them and one that needs to go back for a problem with running fast.

All of mine run really well, which makes it hard to justify the investment for service. But you know what they say, just because they run accurately, doesn't mean they aren't in need of a service. Both of my 6105's, and all of my 6309's run very nicely. But I believe only a couple of my 6309's have been serviced, and neither of my 6105 have had a full service. I've got a blue dial 6139 that acts up every once in a while, I know that we need some attention, so I do not wear it at this point.

I've said it before: if you love your watch do not send it off for servicing.
