Hi Guys,
The sharp eyed members will note we've just made some changes to the tech ref section.
In the goal of becoming more of a one stop shop, and the only fully independent SEIKO board on the net, we've decided to add all the technical info to the board.
This is organised in the same fashion as the old case/interchange books that SEIKO issued and we wanted to stick with that because it's fairly logical. It also makes a distinct difference between the movement and case, which has been the predominant ideology of SEIKO forever.
Our intent is to hoover a lot of the public domain stuff and organise it in this fashion to make it as easy to access as possible with the addition of stuff which has never been in the public domain before (e.g. some of the casing and interchange info).
So I'm going to start populating that asap and you will see stuff start to appear there.
I'm still undecided if I will scan all the interchange books with OCR and make it entirely digital (this would mean you can search it with modern techniques, e.g. F3), or if that will even work. But we'll see.
