Thought you guys might like to see this. My neighbour (pretty much grandparents as they've been across the road since before I was born) had this on the other day and I spotted the Seiko on the clasp. Had a better look today and took these pictures. Noticed I can't find any gaskets for them on eBay.. Are they hard to find at all? Would be neat to have it resealed up as it says it's 15bar water resistant.. That's 150m right? I don't know if all the functions work as i didn't test them but i do assume so. It was kind of a hurried photo so my phone didn't focus on the watch.. instead on my thumb -_- It definitely needs a clean too.

Also while i think of it, i ran the numbers and it came back as either September of '86.. or '76.
I don't know anything about these so can someone confirm which date is correct?

Geday Nick, I'll get to your PM asap. They are an '86 model. Got the gaskets here. PUSHERS - EC0060B - $12AU for the lot CASEBACK - FH2882B - $7, In stock, 1 left. I think I can get the crystal gasket for that model as well, but don't quote me on that. Also have the pusher clips and a spare case and some pushers. Someone offered to buy it from me a while ago and I got back to him with a price but didn't hear from him again. It's fairly mint. I can get crystals made if you need one, they are $50 though. Hang onto that, a future classic I reckon. These watches are way underrated right now if you ask me. I've got a grey one, little worn but it rocks. It's a really good movement. They take a CR2016 and it's super easy to change.

Hey Adrian good to know you can get gaskets for it. Can you double check on Crystal gasket?
I'm thinking of offering to have it cleaned and resealed for his next birthday in February. Wanted to see if gaskets and parts were still available first.

Just thinking about this one i'll have to ask if he even cares enough to bother getting it cleaned and resealed. He's 82 i think next year and when i asked to have a look i had to keep bugging him before he'd take it off. He couldn't work out why i gave a shit haha.
I think to him it's just a watch.. i dunno if he'll care to getting it resealed and cleaned but you never know.. I did say i'd find out the manufacturing dates of it so i might mention i found out gaskets are still available and see what he says.
