I understand about triplock, to me it is the last chance. To me bettera triplock than a watch that cannot be worn anymore.
Let us know if Seiko Germany can do something. I had to deal with them and they were helpful so far.

Hi, anyone knows where to get a tube for a Seiko SBDX009? Seiko Japan will not help. They deliver no spare tubes only complete cases. Because the SBDX009 is limited to 500 pcs. they have no spare case and they leave me alone with this problem. That is the difference to a Swiss company like OMEGA. Send in a 40 years old Speedy and they can do everything. Martin Hi Some of us heart of guys having only the tube serviced on their mm300 after being very insisting (hope one will chime in). Maybe you could contact Rob at monsterwatches, I never dealt with him bit but from reputation he is very helpful. Last solution: get a triplock crown mod done. Hope you get it cleared.

Looks cool! I never opened a quartz watch to service it. So nice to see if can be brought back to life as well.

Have one as well and a 7.25" wrist and yes it is very big for a dress watch! Mine had a finish issue: brush surface transition on the left side was incorrect (around 10o'clock), was changed under warranty but for whatever reason Seiko changed the caseback as well and i lost the initial number. Missmatch with papers now. Still not happy...
