It was really nice to talk to him on all things watches I must say a very cluey guy and watches. We chatted had coffee and he met my wife, a really nice WIS get together at a little place called ZUM a coffee lounge on the Salamanca markets. Tristan pointed out a watch guy on the Salamanca markets that had a few watches and I checked these out, he had a nice Bellmatic but not the one I was or have been chasing a couple of overpriced Omega's and some manual wind pieces.
A big shout out to Tristan for meeting me there and a very enjoyable afternoon. No pictures taken it was just a meet and greet and chat. Getting ready to fly out to Perth tomorrow arvo. back to normality.

Thank you Mark. It was a pleasure to sit down with someone genuinely interested in watches (a rare occurrence for many of us in "real life") and many other topics.
If any of our Australian members are ever in Hobart just drop me a line and I'll be very happy to meet for a coffee or a beer - especially if you're wearing something as awesome as Mark's Omega PloProf :-)

Aloha , That was good to hear you two meeting up and spending some time together. I had that pleasure to meet our Brother and Sister here also while they was on vacation. Great Gentleman and his Wife they were awesome people to meet and talk too and spend time with also. Dasher ( Dan ) meets LongBike we were at ......
