Thanks guys! A few over on SCWF have suggested replacing the bezel insert with a reproduction one but i think between the wear and tear on it, and the cream lume on the hands and dial it gives it a well used patina if you ask me! I think i'll probably leave it, half out of laziness and not wanting to spend anymore money haha. I wasn't so into it at first but seeing it all now i think the bezel insert is fine until i can find a NOS one perhaps.

Very nice indeed. What strap will you be putting it on? Plus i'm liking the 'patina' on the bezel insert. Makes it look like a survivor.

Really nice result!
No way would I put an AM insert on that watch, it doesn't need to look perfect.

I agree guys! I think it'll stay the way it is for now.
Strap wise I've been shuffling a tan Zulu around between my orange 6309/7548 hybrid and my TST so this will use the same one. I think it'll look great.

I'd stick with the original insert unless a better one comes along Nick. An AM one won't be slanted and will look wrong.

I didn't think the insert was too bad. If it was all silver I'd say get rid of it.

I didn't know that. Is he doing slanted 6309 bezels now too? That's going to make it tougher to spot AM bezel inserts.
