Geday, Here we have a JDM SEIKO Silverwave 5933-701A watch with black dial. These are fairly uncommon and were only sold in Japan from what I understand. They have classic early 1980's quartz lines. The watch would have been made in 1980. Copy the image link into a browser tab for a HUGE version. I basically never sell anything but I need to upgrade some tooling and this guy drew the short straw. The crown is a screw down crown and is the smallest screw down crown watch I've ever seen. The watch itself would probably be termed as a mid-size. It's fairly thin. The movement has a number of fine adjustment screws and is a 6 jewel movement. At the time they would have been a mid-range quartz movement. The quartz tester says the movement is running at +0.35 seconds a day, which is pretty average. It comes on the original bracelet, it fits my wrist which is, I think, around 6.8 inches. The crystal has some scratches but they aren't too bad. I replaced the crown with a NOS crown as the original was broken. The case is near perfect and barely shows any wear. Gaskets were also replaced and it's good to go. I'll replace the Renata battery with a SEIKO 726 battery before shipping out. Image with the 6309 is a size reference, 6309 NOT included in the sale!
