Jose, you did it again. Have printed out for my reading pleasure, I'm still old fashioned enough to like to read "Proper" articles on paper. I grow chillies on my windowsill. Have a "Scots-Bonnet" coming along very well at the moment. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Well, there is chili and then there is chili, the Scoville scale defined.... ushotstuff.com/Heat.Scale.htm... Now, this Chiltepin makes your mouth miserable for a while but back there... no hay problema... Others however.... will make you remember what and when you ate them and maybe for several ugly visits to the lil' boys room. That is a real ouch! Some of those chiles are the epitome of masochism.
