Is there a special tool for removing the rotor nut? I usualy just use an old pair of tweezers but I have one that won't cooperate.
I can't say I have ever seen a tool, and if there is where does one get it, or what method of removal do you use?

I'm not sure what the rotor nut removal requires, so this is probably a dumb thing to say, but I use a razor blade to unscrew the rotor screw. Works better than any Swiss screwdriver in my tool set.

On the Citizens it is a little recessed nut with only 2 flats and difficult to grip to undo, on Seiko with the big fixed screw I use a case knife because they don't have a flat slot but a curved one.

I have one of these tools that I picked up on YJ a couple of months ago. It has the 70's Citizen C logo stamped on the handle. The end has the cut out for the rotor nut. Not sure what the current version is but I would not be surprised if it was almost identical. If you can not get one from Citizen then check YJ as I do see these come up semi-regularly.

I would have to work out the terminology for yahoo japan first, haven't a clue what they would call it, and their post charges seem a bit over the top, just found 3 Citizen stems for $11.60 and $US 61.00 postage.

I've usually found post on small items not too bad if going through buyer.jp. About $9 AUD from seller to buyee and about $12 to Australia if you choose the registered but not super fast option.
