Believe it or not, NYC actually has excellent tasting public drinking water. Something about the filtration through whatever the aquifer source is. Interesting they selected that for their taste test.
Across the river in Jersey is a different story. Unbelievable mineral content, at least in mine. You should see the contraption in my basement to soften it. And this is city water, not well. Still tastes pretty good though.

Believe it or not, NYC actually has excellent tasting public drinking water. Something about the filtration through whatever the aquifer source is. You should see the contraption in my basement to soften it. And this is city water, not well. Still tastes pretty good though. I have avoided the whole controversy for a couple of decades now...I drink only beer woohoo-dancing-banana-smiley-emoticon
