With the recent change to one of the alternative Seiko sites, we'll see even more posting here.

I for one hate change. I still use Winamp to play my MP3's (anyone remember when you could download MP3's for free back in 1995?)
I was a child prodigy at my elementary school in the hood back in 3rd grade and was writing basic programs on the 1 Apple 2E they had (not that 6G d-bag crap that is out now that all of the suburb posers bow down to and don't know crap about how it works)
Line 10 if you are a d-bag goto line 20
Line 20 go phuk yourself

Used to use WinAmp back in the day but ultimately became more obsessed over what I was using for extraction and compression (EAC + Lame). Finally found it easier to default to WMP for playback...felt a little like giving in but it was easier than loading additional players on multiple computers every time I reloaded an O/S...Never got further than basic payroll programs on the old IIe Apples... And for the record I am not in love with the changes over yonder but I am thrilled to have hybrid thread view now. Wish every board platform supported it. I for one hate change. I still use Winamp to play my MP3's (anyone remember when you could download MP3's for free back in 1995?)

The format change is less severe than the impersonal way it was implemented. The forum has transitioned into profit mode.

I hate it when this kind of thing happens on ANY forum. Or my email account. Or on the menu screen of my cable box.
As soon as I get comfortable with the layout and format, the whole damned thing is unceremoniously changed to accommodate some new geek-chic techie feature that only 4 people on the entire damned planet even give a shit about.
"Great news! You can now hyper hash-mark your account via Twizzerfeed using your Skribbleflax protocol and linking it with OBMDQ Teamspeak v2.7! Oh...and have fun RE-learning everything else!"

Oh c'mon man, nobody uses the Skribbleflax protocol suite anymore. That's so 2005. I hate it when this kind of thing happens on ANY forum. Or my email account. Or on the menu screen of my cable box. Wait...does this mean I am getting old? suicide1 Yup. Me too. I avoid Facebook, smart phones, game consoles, Blue Ray, Garmin, and a host of other devices that the younger generation considers indispensable. (I have, though, embraced computers, the internet, and tax preparation software.)

Well, for me at least, the change to vBulletin was just what the doctor ordered. My favorite motorcycle forum has been using it since Hector was a pup, and I feel really comfortable with it. I always despised Network 54 as an outdated piece of crap. And that thing in between wasn't much either.
Other changes there are less welcome. I stop in there once in a while, but I don't spend much time there anymore.
