I've finally decided to offer up my trench watches for sale. These watches are in amazing condition for being over 100 years old, and both have been expertly serviced.
In servicing, the Borgel had it's radium lume removed as it was partially missing and the inner bezel lightly polished to clean it up. The Dennison has had the same polishing. Both watches received a case clean but no polishing was done at all to retain all original patina / factory finishes. The crystals of both watches are original to the watches and in amazing condition for their age. The black dial Dennison has had a touch up on the subdial where the pinion sticks through at some point in it's life but is hardly noticable. The Borgel's white enamel dial is gorgeous and in 100% perfect condition.
Both watches also received new, modern mainsprings and both also had some balance work done for better timekeeping. Obviously they are not COSC spec as they are 100 years old, but over 24 hours they keep within a minute or two a day.
