I've got around 20 timex from the 60s and 70s Have a bit of a thing for them as a Timex was my very first watch in 1979. I've not got round to working on many yet so wondering if there are any experts with sage advise, tips and pointers I can go to when I no doubt get into trouble :-) ive already managed to break the automatic winding rotor on my second favourite one by trying to tighten the centre pin by giving it "a little tap" with a pin punch still on the look out for a replacement. Look forward to meeting any fellow times collectors.

I have one or two. No mechanicals anymore as I broke most of them trying to take them apart. I don't know if they were meant to. I have what I believe is a NOS Electric from the 70's I have offered for sale a time or two without much interest.
On the WRUW threads there are some that wear one for Timex Tuesday's, which is more on a different forum, which I don't know, but they come along and give that sage advice.

It has been a while since I paid any attention to my Time watches but this some of the collection... photos.google.com/album/AF1QipOoQIq5gN5qWSix-mhQcHjw2BiJRXDwnvx0sCyw

There is a forum dedicated to Timex here - The Timex Watch Forum
and I'm sharing a bunch of Timex documentation here - Timex Documentation
The forum is a bit slow right now, but there are people there who know quite a bit about Timex and can answer questions. Just be patient! Have Fun!

There was a Timex Watch Forum on Network 54, but it apparently faded away. It is now read-only. Here is what is left. I don't know if it will do you any good, but? linkDadistic's info is better than mine. I see some of the old names there.

I have regular electric, non-quartz, quartz, manual wind and automatic wind models. Most are dress or casual watches and one is a diver style.
