A friend from another forum alerted me to this gathering, so I thought I'd join before the queue gets too big.
I'm a collector for the last 7 or 8 years, but have always loved watches. Most recently I have been focussing on Seiko (quartz - mostly from the 80's but some more modern), Citizen (quartz - modern and from the 90's) and Casio (mostly modern, but a few from the 90's).
I do enjoy bringing dead or damaged watches back to life and have had a fair amount of success to date.

.gif Welcome aboard friend! You'll fit right in. Please feel free to post your collection in our members gallery and perhaps if you've taken photos, post some of your restorations in our mod/watch making section. thunbsup.gif

Check out our current 6309 project. And feel free to chime in with any advice your experience has taught you. I know there are several here who would love to see a quartz project(service and revival).
