I know this is a long shot, but I just received a beautiful JDM 4823-8010 King Quartz. Unfortunately, it has the wrong battery hatch so I can't seal it up to wear it. I just need the battery cover. Below are some pics. Look at them carefully because 90% of these things look the same. Can do cash or a trade. Wish I had a part number, but it's hard to find casing info for these watches (EDIT: It's 8359 9759, Thanks, Rod!). I am not sure if this hatch is exclusive to the 48s or if it is a bit more generic.
Apparently, early 48-series watches use this hatch and gasket, later ones use a different hatch and gasket. Seiko changed the battery used between the 4823A and 4823B.
My watch was made in 1976. The hatch in the pictures was 'borrowed' from my 4843 Grand Quartz. Thanks!
