Here is a picture of my new watch, a King Seiko 45-7000. This is my second Seiko, and the first vintage watch I ever bought. I was bit scared about buying a vintage watch online, and forgot to check a lot of things before ordering it. Hopefully everything turned out to be OK. (or so I guess ) As you can see the watch has a lot of wear but I love it that way. It keeps great time and the finishing is really good.

Great purchase! Just be sure it's running ok, bring it to your watchmaker, could need a service

Looks wonderful! I'm really digging no-date hand wind movements. Works great for my low-use dress watches so there's less to set every time I pick it up. How's the crown and medallion look (I think that's one of the models with the gold medallion)?

I've tried to take some pictures with my phone to give you an idea, sorry about the quality.

Fantastic pick-up and a GREAT way to get into vintage Seiko collecting, or just plain appreciation. These manual wind 45 Series are great movements. I have a similar KS manual wind but with a different 'cushion' case of sorts - see my avatar ! That case design is described as being of "The Grammar Of Design." Truly defines the unique Seiko design values that carried on for many years and, unlike anything Rolex, has never really been copied by other watch makers. So it makes it 'super-Seiko DNA.' Good read: "Grammar Of Design" history
