I’m not sure if I’m a collector or a hoarder, my collection makes as much sense as a squirrel crossing the road. Some of my watches (if the pictures turn out) I forgot one I’d like to get my GS and 4s15 serviced, but am hesitant to trust many to do it. I thought about sending them to Japan for a service, but get frightened by my lack of experience in sending watches there and fear losing them. Anyway, glad to be here and learning more about Seiko.

Welcome aboard! I’d call that a collection, they are all very nice! Where in the world are you? There are people on most continents here who I’d trust with any watch I owned so we can probably make some recommendations if that would help?

I’m in a small Missouri town. I don’t trust they can get the parts needed for the GS and 4s15, plus opening the 4s is from the top and I’m not sure of their experience with that.

Wow, that’s some introduction! Welcome to the best forum in Internetland! Pity you’re across the pond, there seems to be a dire shortage of folk to service vintage Seiko over there. If you’re happy trusting your watches to the postal service there’s some good options here in the UK. I’d certainly recommend our own siralan for almost anything - just check out some of his threads and you’ll see what I mean!

A squirrel crossing the road...seems that is how many of us start out. I've narrowed it down to watches 44mm or less. Or was it just white dials, then I found a blue one, then there were those made for the NA market...Anyway welcome aboard.

Very selective in your watches, some great pieces there. Welcome to Wrist Sushi!
Rob
BTW. some guys here I would trust with my most precious pieces and trust them to find parts over Seiko Japan.

Welcome to Wrist Sushi. Impressive introduction for sure! Great collection you have ! Congrats!
As others have noted, there are plenty of trust worthy watch makers here. I've trusted a watch that my Dad got as a gift in '72 to one of the more popular watch makers known on this site (sadly, they are not accepting new work now to being too busy) and it came back in great shape. It's been several years since the service and it still keeps dead on time.
You've come to a great place and there are LOTS of talented and trusted watch makers here that can help out.

Welcome to the forum If you don't mind a long wait, talk to Spencer Klein. He had paused taking in more pieces but he is probably your best bet in USA. He'll have the contacts to get any parts needed.
