A recent thread discussed needing a 7S26 movement for a project. I can get brand new 7S26C movements from Seiko cheaply and if enough of us decide to order then their S&H and costs to send (padded envelopes and postage) goes down too.
Here is my proposal: I will sell brand new never opened 7S26C movements straight from Seiko
NO DAY WHEEL or C-Clip to hold it on and no day wheel corrector plastic gear - must bring those over from old movement or source the wheel and c-clip on your own
4 o'clock crown position date wheel
For $ 40 USD each SHIPPED CONUS by first class mail with tracking
The international stuff gets messy. It's a lot more work than you think. I have paper to fill out and wait while the postal clerk types in your address manually, I could read Moby Dick by the time they do one of these. So they would sell for $45 USD each plus $15 for your total order.
If we get to ten (10) movements we are on. If not then drop the idea.
Here is a stock photo I grabbed off the internet from a supply house (these would come direct from Seiko USA, not a warehouse) but it shows the idea of what the bare movement consists of pretty well:
