Here we go again. Another dilapidated all original 6139-6000 Choped up and Ruined. I couldn't help myself. I love carving these things to pieces......... I didn't get any before pictures. I was too busy servicing the movement and I didn't want to offend any Purists.......
It all started with a non-runner some time ago but since I had a little time to spare I slid it in the service line up. It needed a few bits and bob's so it was off to the personal stash for some hard to find parts I had been saving for something special Like a "Proof" model. New gaskets, correct domed crystal, + nos inner bezel.
Even had the correct "rolled edge" end links on the original bracelet.........
Up and running like a champ with good readings on the timegrapher, it was back in the case ready for the bracelet
And now for the long awaited bracelet installation and ready for the wrist..........

Great work again Tom.
I’ve got a couple of those that could do with a similar level of butchering to ruin them. I’m quite happy to accept new parts being used, and even happy for the crusty old lume to be scraped off just to make it completely non-original.

Cant call it a butcher job. I can accept a new crystal and inner bezel as well as some internal parts change when it is all original parts. This will ensure the watch runs well for many years to come. The case dial and hands and marker are all beautiful.

Couldn't help but change my aviator and my attitude after that...........LOL
I've been The Krazy Butcher ever since..........
