I'm definitely having a diver spree at the moment. not worn this for ages - its fitted with a Breitling strap & deployment clasp which I really like (so easy to use). I'm pretty certain that I relumed the dial & hands as well.

It is with great pleasure that i reintroduce a unicorn. Many thanks to Stephen acidstain for finding the NOS circuitry and sharing it & Tristan tritto for alerting me to its availability (and prompting me to take the plunge) This is probably my favorite Seiko or at least top 5 and has been one of the hardest to maintain. Out of interest here is the difference between both modules. NOS in the right

This one again as I've been doing some trial and error regulation. So far so good.

Back from vacation. The bracelet did its job re: sunscreen, sweat, and insect repellent, but I sure could have used a glide-lock-style clasp to lengthen the bracelet in all that heat.

Thank you very much. That was the condition I got it in from someone in Japan, however the lume on the hands were moldy. It dates to 1984. I had it serviced; new mainspring, reverser wheels, gaskets, and OEM Rolex crown. My guy re-lumed the hands too. Light brushing on top of the lugs. Case sides were left alone which I hand polished to a mirror finish. I put it on a genuine alligator strap as I don't like the plated two tone band it comes with. It's one of my dress watches. Was in the mood today.
