Newly cleaned up 6300-8009 from April ‘68. This has been waiting for some attention for some time, i reckon it has something of a GS about it. It originally came on a BOR, which unfortunately was incomplete so I’ve popped it on black leather for the time being, and ordered a navy leather strap which should look ok until I can work out a bracelet alternative... You don’t see many of the 6300s about (should I say it’s rare???), the movement is the 63a, a manual 63xx which keeps everything very thin and light.

I've been hankering for a hand winding Seiko.

I've been thinking that an oxblood(?) strap would look good with this dial and by chance some suitable offcuts popped up and my local leather goods store. I finished the new strap today.
