He already has a 009 and wants something a bit more sophisticated  ...The Sammy is nice, but I found that the crown digs into the back of my hand. Still, if your anatomy fits the watch - go for it!  Its not that it is more sophisticated - the SKX 009 is such a cool watch, which I enjoy wearing. Its just I recently saw the 061, which I really liked the look and feel of, and as I investigated, then discovered the 051, which I possibly like more - and have just decided that if I can pick either of those up at a reasonable price, I would enjoy it as my daily modern watch. But I do need to go and see them both first. In the meantime, I am loving my 6309! I really enjoyed my visit to the Seiko Boutique in London when I was there. |

Botton and top look best on your wrist. Bottom particularly. The STO Turtle.. nope, not a fan. Jon here here has most of these and I think his grey dial one is the nicest. Anyway Steve that bottom one. Whatever that is...looks very good on you and the overall look. I like the top one, lovely dial. |
