Dear all,
My name is Anthony. I am French.
I am a watch lover. I was first attracted by the esthetic of a watch as a fashion accessory. Its actually still the same but I am also curious and more educated about what’s happening “inside” the movement. Good to know how a manual/self winding or quartz watch works! I just start to be seriously interested in watchmaking industry 3 years ago. I have now a global idea of the market even if I still discover brands everyday!
I just got my first seiko SARB033 and I am very happy with it. Seiko to me gets an history advantage, technicals and strong movements with choices of complication and very attractive and timeless designs for an affordable price. The second hand market is passionating and very wide, get the feeling to hunt!
I joined the forum to help to get my second seiko timepiece which would be a vintage quartz from 80’s!
Hope you could help me!
Best regards to everyone
Anthony

Welcome Anthony. If you're looking for a great vintage quartz form the '80s, then you can't go wrong with the 7A28 or 7A38 line.

Welcome to the forums, and great choice for a first watch. The SARB033 is incredibly versatile and could easily be one's only watch...
...at least for a while. Until you get hooked on Seiko and want another... and another... and another haha.

Welcome / bienvenu to you and please show us your SARB.
As Nordlys says this can become a crazy hobby if you learn the depth of all the watches that Seiko has to offer. And affordable too !
