We haven't had one of these freebie give-away watch comps in a while. Maybe Camrok's home got robbed, seems like that's the only other place free watches have been coming from . So Mrs. HiBeat once again gave my daily wearer a big Thumbs Down and that means away goes another. Given that this is a whacky Mod Job with a short power reserve (keeps great time as long as you are moving about) I think giving it away is the way to go. Particulars: Salvaged an Ingersoll US Time RADIOLITE dial off a junker in a parts lot. Really cool (well, tell that to my better half) true creamy lume patina military look to it. Mated up some oddball "Seiko-esque" hands that match the lume color. Oh yeah, to use the term 'lume' here means 'maybe used to shine at night but old and definitely not now." Encased in a Seiko 7005-8040 with genuine clean 7005A but it has a short power reserve. Otherwise keeps time and sets and runs and changes date etc. Comes on a tattered old khaki color strap that I think suits it to a tee. Which might not mean it is very nice but fitting nonetheless. HOW TO WIN: Pick the Powerball from this Saturday's Drawing October 19. Numbers 1 to 26 for the red Powerball. www.powerball.com for results. Participants must have 50 posts by the time they enter. Can't have WatchRecon followers crashing our website.
Up to 26 participants, if no one enters I sell it on TOF. If no one gets it exact the closest number picked wins and if a tie then the LOWER number wins. Strategy people. Strategy.
LATE NEW RULE: NO ENTRIES after 10:30 pm New York Time on Saturday. The drawing is at 11:00 pm New York time so that is 30 minutes before the draw occurs. I will not count any guesses after that time because we must leave a reasonable window of time to prevent sniping. I think 30 minutes to showtime is fair to all.
One more thing: FREE means free if you have a USA/FPO address. Since the USPS takes $14.50 of our hard money to get this anywhere else I must ask for $10. USD for any overseas winners. I will still pick up the postage amount for a US winner.
Photos of the give-away. These are meant to attract participants. I know Tim liked it once in a WRUW thread.
One last thing: it looks a ton better in real life these photos are harsh and bring out all the case imperfections.

Not my cup of tea but if I win; I know a forum member that truly deserves this watch and will pass it on to him/her Let's go with #21 since it is 1/2 of my lucky number.

Forgetfulness comes with working 6 days / 60 hours a week on a regular week and 7 days / 65 hours / 4 weeks or more in a row on a bad week and just wanting to go home at the end of the day.
Bad week season is coming up again soon once it starts snowing.
