I picked up this 6118-8000 for a song last week on the assumption that the bracelet might be a nice match for a SilverWave I have. It isn't to be though - the end links are 19mm. Sold as running but needs a battery, I'm pleasantly surprised that it has run for almost 24 hours without a battery change! Cleaned the case and polished the crystal. The bracelet is very nice. I'm surprised to find a 6118 dated March '75 - long after the 6119s seem to have been phased out.

6601-9990 from May ‘67. I’ve just noticed that the case could do with a dip in the ultrasonic as there’s some crud around the lugs. Job for tonight.

This 6119-8490 arrived yesterday, and I love it. I need to look for a bracelet for it.

and I had to set the hands back this morning. Having fun with your ArSol? That's one cool feature.

Sinn Regulateur that I bought in 2006 and recently put on a Staib mesh bracelet. Beautiful guilloche dial that shimmers in the light and electric blue iridescent hands. Skeleton sapphire case back with a heavily modified Unitas hand wind movement.

This 6139-6002 is probably the most pristine example I’ve ever laid my hands on. A shout-out to my good friend Reynaldo for giving me a crack at it. This watch is from July of ‘71 and was serviced by KVW. Installed is a later NOS Seiko Bezel that was purchased from Jonathan Koch before his passing. What an honor and privilege it is to own.

Those case lines are like a Samurai sword! Pretty sweet. You don't find a vintage tool watch with a case like that too often. Nice provenance behind it too.
