Another little project to kinda practice towards the watch box The dollar tree has these little trays that I quite like to store bits and bobs and busted watches in, decided to try and start cleaning up my watch parts/storage a bit. First time using a router too! Just together with a couple framing nails for now, was thinking about making a second bay for trays still... Looks great And love the bin idea Very innovative Well done my friend God Bless,John

Aloha , Hey Solotov, man that looks good and you getting the hang of building a very nice setup there. Maybe later on when it gets done you might want to give it a ..... Stain and even a clear coat of some nice Varnish Covering. Then maybe a Plexi-Glass Tinted Door. Any way Congrats for that looking great and your effort was a good one. Louis

You can Hand Rub it on very carefully with even strokes or use a light brush but be careful not to make to many Blotching Dark Spots , but evenly brushed out. Then you could Varnish or Clear Coat it for a nice finish. The more you apply the Stain the Darker It Becomes so you have to watch it as you go along then decide if the finish is what you desire. It looks like you are using ...White Pine Wood there. Louis

Test it out on other wood first till you perfect the look you want ... lots of trial and error till you get it right But once you do... You will love what you made And others will be impressed as well Nothing better than doing it yourself God Bless,John

Still not stained, but in place and testfitted. Pretty happy with the result so far Started to get a liiitle sloppy towards the end, but I don't think you can tell without looking closely. Always a learning experience.

Slightly off topic for your question but I saw this on insta the other day and want one. Regarding your question, if you google there are lots of ideas. A big thread on TOF I remember too. I wonder if I could get one of the guys at my local Turneu to give me something like this from displays.

You can sometimes find these store display boxes on Yahoo JP. Just search "セイコー ディスプレイ" every so often and see what pops up.
