Recently acquired this Aussie Pogue dated January 1972. Which is interesting as later in 72 the “Water 70m Resist” was removed. I personally think this is one of the nicest examples out there and also one of the few I’ve personally seen with a resist dial as well. I’m really glad to have picked it up! I love how the Aussie Pogues were shrouded in mystery until relatively recently it was finally confirmed to be a real model with the help of the Seiko community including Spencer Klein and Adrian from VTA. I personally love the Black and Yellow combo topped with the Stelux President bracelet. I have personally swapped out the original Stelux for an Uncle Seiko President as I didn’t want to ruin the quality of the original. Let me know what everyone thinks! Hate it, love it, let me know! I’ll be posting my other 6139’s soon! “Aussie Pogue” Album Link imgur.com/a/WFbzNKy

Nice set of watches you have there. Adrian did a brief review of the Seikosis 6139 indicator rings a couple of years ago and he thought they were pretty good.

Oh no kidding? I’ll have to check that vid out too! This Aussie in particular is an all original example fortunately. I have a Blue 6139-6002 that I’ll be posting soon that uses that Seikosis indicator ring and that I’ve personally Lumed as well. It honestly looks so good and would definitely be open to Luming them for anyone that is interested. I’m actually doing that for a fellow collector via Instagram!

That's an excellent looking watch, I'm a huge fan of the Aussie Pogue.
The black indicator ring is a great feature and the Stelux bracelet is a good look & better quality than the H-link.
I am extremely jealous!

I am extremely jealous! Thank you! Same I love them so much. Especially considering how everyone thought they were fake it makes it that more interesting and fun to own. If you have a collection I’d love to see your watches!

Wooooooooow, my friend. Those are some serious watches you got there. A 6040 Gray Ghost, Plethora of Speed Timers, JDM 6139’s, the Sunrise, and a Silver Dial. I’ll just crawl back into my hole hahaha. No, seriously amazing collection. This is such an awesome intro to this community. I’m primarily on Reddit and IG but this is just a whole ‘nother level! Thank you so much for sharing!

Oh wow. That’s where all the world’s 6139’s are huh 😂. Speaking of, If you have a 6005 Blue Resist in there you’re willing to let go...

Congrats, that bezel also looks to be in stellar condition. Very hard to find those with good Pepsi bezels. I love the Black Indicator ring to be honest. I also have a huge soft spot for Non Resist 6005 Yellow R Dials. I think they look the best out of every Yellow 6139, even better than the True Pogue hahah. It’s so clean with the two line text, minimal clutter on the dial, the deep golden dial against the bright yellow ring. It has a lot of variation compared to the T Dials where the yellow dial mixes with the yellow ring. Here’s my current Yellow 6139 Collection. I have two Blue Aussie 6139’s as well. One in NoS condition. Attachments:
