Hi
I am quite interested in the 6138 and 6139 Seiko watches and have been very impressed with how reliable these 40 to 50 year old watches can be. I had a 1976 145.022 Speedmaster until recently but sold it last year and bought a a 6139 and 6138. My 6139-7030 looks a bit like a speedy, is more accurate and was cheaper to both service and purchase! I recently found a nice 8020 panda. I also bought a Preage Shippo last year but I dont like it and dont wear it. I much prefer the 6139 and 6138. I am looking at the bonhams seiko auction site but I am bit of a novice and do not know how many are frankenwatches or not.
Best Regards Phil
