I had to go see someone today to have an item accurately measured. OK OK is was the chokes in a couple of my guns.
So we are talking guns this guns that etc etc and that COVID has enhanced their sales because peps had not spent out on holiday etc. He added that jewellery was experiencing the same trend...to which he points to his ROLEX green sea dweller IIRC. I had already clocked it mind as I would. Just bought this this week, from a local jeweller. It was on their Facebook for £X so he went around to the shop and asked to see it. They told him is was being cleaned for the display window. Its a recently removed from production model which retailed for £18K...he paid them £9k for it. I have to say it WAS very nice indeed.

I think you're referring the the Submariner "Hulk", which has recently been discontinued. Green dial and bezel. The model that replaced it has a black dial and green bezel. Sounds like he may have got a good deal, as they're selling for a big premium over RRP. However, RRP wasn't anywhere near £18000. Closer to what he actually paid for it.

Good call Tristan.
The Hulk is now the Starbucks, is that right ?
I have a new SKX007 to mod and I was thinking of doing it in these colors.

Having looked around he did well for £9k. The cheapest I have found is £14K the most expensive £18k.
