That this is a great forum which is clearly packed with people with different world views and different backgrounds, but who share the same passion.
Also, I have not managed to spot a single piece of elitistic crap/attitude and both battery operated and mechanical pieces are embraced equally. Sure, there are prefrence towards one or the other, but that comes out in a civilized manner.
I have seen this mentioned here and I think others share these thoughts, that maybe it's the accessabilty and the praticality of Japanese time pieces that draws together like minded people.
Keep up the good atmosphere peeps! Looking forward to see your watches.

Yep, it's one of the friendliest places on the web. Rarely a harsh word and certainly no snobbery. WS is a credit to the moderators and its members.

Great to have you join us, too! Thanks for recognizing what a pleasure WristSushi can be. Definitely a much nicer vibe here and itβs due to everyone.

It's a grand place to be sure and although the membership changes from time to time (stay off the smack kids) it's always a good place to come, even if I don't have half as much time as I used to to get as involved as I would like in every thread.

It should be a hard rule (enforced by the moderators ) that all new threads start with a soothing watch photo!!

I think I ve mentioned this before: I am a member of almost all watch forums, but the only one I am active on is WS feels like a community of former school/army buddies ... with no conflicts, no sarcasm (except for the healthy/funny kind ) and where you almost get to really know the follow members even though we rarely/ever meet and we are scattered all over the globe

I regret not posting as much as I used to. But often come and have a quick look. Probably wouldnt recognise many names now!
Seiko certainly changed a lot in the last few years as has my world to do with watches but thank you Tim, and Jon, and aslong as I'm not one of the snobby ones (I am actually as I don't think anything beats Seiko, especially 60s, 70s and 80s stuff) then hopefully will post more and be able to do a few threads as currently Don is the only one holding the fort in the resto section and he is kicking ass.

Yes Donj needs a running mate to push him to further excellence - like the wonderful stuff you put out - if you can find the time !
