I’ll start the week off to give Nick a break! 😁 I resurrected this one yesterday from the spares box. It’s got a less than perfect dial but not by that much. And my cuff is hiding a gaping hole in the bracelet! (So if anyone has a spare 6 o’clock half of an XBA540 hit me up!)

Nice one Phil, I was giving it until noon before I weighed in (again) 😂 Today’s choice was gifted to me recently by a fellow forum member, and I thought I’d have a go at resurrecting it yesterday. The original 6119C movement was in very good shape, save for missing the balance, but when cleaned and put back I could only get very low amplitude (125) and a really poor trace. So I ended up using a 6119B out of my spares box that, from memory, ran pretty decent but was sporting a really poor dial. I’m very pleased with how it turned out after a case clean, new crystal and gaskets, and it’s another keeper. 6119-8430, May ‘72.

Finally got through customs and the nightmare that is the USPS currently 😅 This thing feels almost modern for some reason, also feels much bigger than I was expecting too! (In a good way) Also soon to be desperately searching for a bracelet for this guy 😁HMU

That’s a bold statement! 😆 I’m assuming it’s a family heirloom? I have my grandfather’s 5513 Submariner from 1967. Isn’t that a refinished dial? I’ve never seen both Rolex and Tudor written on the same dial.
