Got this earlier this week. Didn't start with a battery. Luckily it was just minor corrosion on the PCB negative terminal. Movement needs oiling and I need to do something for the crystal aswell. I find it intriguing watch packed with functions and a funky design.

Still with the new arrival, SRPE29K1. Honeymoon period I suppose 😉 Those are great mid-size models. I have the grey/blue variant and I'm kind of wishing I went with the Khaki version. So if yer love starts to wane, drop me a line if you fancy a swap;) I know this is definitely a WIS thing but I really like the sound the bezel makes when you turn it. More of clack-clack than a click-click. Oh man. I need to get out more often....

This SRPC39J1 just arrived yesterday afternoon and represents the culmination of a little WIS journey with the emphasis on "idiot". I bought the SRPC41K1 (PADI) previously because I already had the SRP 773 (which I subsequently sold) and I didn't need another blue faced diver. The PADI version arrives and immediately I'm put off by the hands on it. So off it goes to Duarte for a hand and crystal swap. The only problem was the hands I used as replacements were AM and the lume didn't match (oh, the horror). I then had my local watchmaker swap in some OEM SKX hands but in the end, it just didn't do it for me so I sold it. Given the SRP 773 and the SRPC41K1 had now left the building, I focused on a replacement and bought this pre-owned one, which is what I should have done in the first place! No mods are contemplated save for a strap swap. Sorry for he long winded ramble in this WRUW thread but it just makes me laugh.

I wrote an article on the mm300 (will post it in a few days in the “members galleries” section) Saw an amazing car today: Wore a cracking watch I really like ..... Your Wheel's Man that is a Cool Ride. I also really like a lot of those .... BMW's I had one years ago a Friend Good gave it to me when I lived in California in 1970's and it was a ..... Old Classic One too and ran like a charm. It was of those little .... Square Type Cars and I barely fit into it but I did quite alright with it. Aloha Louis

Saw an amazing car today: How could you pollute your post of this amazing BMW with your old steering wheel?!
Those chrome wheel arches are an American thing. Was that standard? I'd be curious. Lots of old Mercedes here in the States have those. I remember seeing it all the time as a kid.

Aloha Louis That looks like an E9 and what longbike is refering to is likely to be a 2002. The chrome wheel arch trims are an aftermarket kit. Never owned any of the two but always admired that era (70's) of cars. With each passing year they become rarer and the dream to own one remains strongly so.

Sorry Seth I drive my trusty Forester during the weekends so crappy steering wheel is part of the scenery … not an expert on vintage models or trims except that I love them. Especially coupes. I could trade in my watch collection for one of those (ofc assuming I would add some cash …). Would keep the sbdx001 though…

Saw an amazing car today: Wonderful! It's a BMW 3.0 CSi from the early '70s. Always been a dream car to me. Years ago I saw one in ice-blue with a white leather interior...
