Sure we like to wear watches but what do we put them on our wrist with?

I prefer a rubber strap on diver's watches & preferably, an original bracelet on everything else. Failing that, I'd choose a NATO, leather or possibly a silicone, which I find comfortable but a bit sweaty sometimes.

I prefer stainless , but if the watch calls for a leather or other then I have no problem wearing something else.

Wear divers 99% of the time and always on rubber, lcd's and vintage chronos on original stainless.

Really depends on the watch.
I usually prefer the original bracelet, but have come to appreciate a nice leather strap on the right watch. The key is getting a strap that suits the watch. Ten years ago, I would not buy a watch that did not have it's original bracelet. And I quite like old 6309s on old GL-831s. yes1.gif

Preference is for variety - counting them up, I'm evenly split between bracelet/leather/rubber, with just my 6309 on NATO.
My favorites among the group are: Bracelet: GS Ti bracelet is pretty great, as is DOXA's BoR, but I have to go with the fishbone. Love the asymmetry, which goes with the asymmetric bullhead case perfectly.
Rubber: XGL-731. Swiss Tropic a close second, followed by chocolate bar and the waffle. Don't care for the MarineMaster strap.
Leather: Finding the perfect leather strap for a watch is tough - I have a drawer full of failed attempts. Favorite has to by the custom ABP alligator for my Zenith. NATO: Bond NATO G10 from GasGasBones, made by Phoenix watch straps.
At some point I'd like to get a nice sailcloth strap, those look great on a number of watches.

For me it's between bracelet and rubber.
It all comes down to the watch head and how it fits on my wrist. Some are more comfortable on SS and others on rubber.

It really depends on the watch... these days I find myself wearing those that look good on leather NATOs though...

I have a dozen or more NATO straps and never wear them.
Bracelets first, rubber second (assuming DAL1BP / Z-22 style - can't stand wave straps). Vintage grosgrain straps are nice but they're damned hard to find actually.
