Hi, I am new here, but I am an enthusiastic collector of watches, mainly Japanese, with some exceptions for some Swiss watches. About 90% of my collection are Seiko watches. The main part of that are vintage, from the 50's till the 90's. I do got some "new" watches, but these are but a few.
My collection is by far not small, about 100 watches that are running, and a lot more not running... And I just started collecting watches 3 years ago...
I am most proud of the watch in my avatar. I bought it in Japan, not realizing, I me got a real gem. The rust was quicky removed and I got me a really beautiful watch, that is also rare (being a low-beat 5740-8000 Lord Marvel).

Welcome! Very nice avatar.
You are in good company here - lots of vintage Seiko owners and collectors here. Mine are mainly World Timers (mechanical and LCD), a erly few calculators and soon some Bell-matics.
Share some photos of your collection when you have a chance. The forum feature for attaching photos doesn't work well, but you can create an imgur.com account for free- upload photos there and then use the BBCode link there to show the images here in a post/thread.

I already did. I got my own webspace, so publishing is not a very big problem, and I have all the control of my pics...
