I’ll start one for a change! This for me. I like it more and more as time goes on.

SteveX - what is the model reference on that one? I thought those were usually marked 'Advan', so I'm curious. I definitely want to add one to my collection at some point and that English / Blue combo is high on my list!
Ready for Hurricane Ian today with the GX-56GB by my side.

Hey inboost, this is a 7006-6039. You are correct, there is an Advan version, 7019-6050. I also have one of those but it is in rough shape. Ebay gamble from a HHC years ago. I see these referred to as "perpetual calendar" model but to me that is inaccurate as they need to be manually reset each month. Gorgeous blue dial- go for it!

Haven't even bothered with removing the last guys DNA, just putting it to use. Seems to be keeping good time on the desk the past few days... 6309-7150. Dial looks silver in some light conditions but generally it's more of a creamy white.

That is an excellent watch SteveX and on my list. There are 3 models I am aware of: 1) your 7006-6039 shared here, with blue dial, 17 jewels and in English 2) the 7019-6050 Advan, in blue and brown dial variants, 21 jewels and in kanji 3) the 7019-6070 Seiko 5 model, also in blue dial, 21 jewels and in English It is a challenge to find them in good condition. Even harder with orignal bracelet. EDIT: fixed #3 model number

Today's Seiko golf tip of the day: when you address the ball, the toe end of your iron should sit just off the ground.

I had a quartzday today. I took my King Quartz 0853-8001 to work... And for tonight the Grand (twin) Quartz 9942-7000, I saved from being scrapped. Just look at that dial. It constantly changes under light, snowflake at the first stages... It's so hard to take a picture of this dial...

Both have wonderful dials! I would love to know the story of how you saved the 9942-7000 too!

Japanese beer and sushi to go with my Japanese watch. Friday night at last. This is a 7548 that I need to restore, but it runs and looks great as it is. I think this my favorite reference.
