Yesterday I was warned about storing watch parts in tissue paper. Thank you! I am assuming this is the product you told me to use along with finger cots? I am sort of a projects type person. Lots of hobbies. Making candy is one of them, so I have these little sheets. Waiting for little plastic containers to come in the mail. I want to store my 6139 parts appropriately. The movements have been stored out of watch cases for years in envelopes. Only one was in a case. The one with water damage, the inner bezel was used by the rest of the watch was just stuffed back in to the case. Anyway. Trying to do what’s right. Got some rodico coming to protect the stem. Will use this foam to sandwich? Any other advice? These parts are trashed. They are not complete movements, but they are trashed not trash, and I want to respect that these parts aren’t being made anymore. How do you store your pieces?

This is old but I'll respond. I use small PVC ziplock jewelry bags to stores all part expect hands and dials. Most are 1x1.5 inches. Cases go into plastic boxes From Right Keeper NO-00. I specialize in Seiko 4005/4006s so your milage may vary on the case storage. I have other various plastic cases for bands and band parts. Small parts like extension links go into the baggie and that goes into the plastic case with the major band parts of the same type. if I did more watches other than the sekio, I dont know if this would work effectively or not. It works for me

Hands and dials can be stored in coin capsules 30mm for dials, smaller for most hands Need larger size for bezel inserts
