The condition of that dial is insane. You ARE going to keep this watch right?

The condition of that dial is insane. You ARE going to keep this watch right? Ideally I'll hold onto this one.

This is a beauty Spencer! This was in a lot? Mind if I ask what you got it for?

What accounts for the various jewel counts on these 6105's?

What accounts for the various jewel counts on these 6105's? They came out of the factory with 17 jewels. This one had the attention of a watchsmith who swapped that bushing for a jewel. It happens. I once opened up a 6139 to find that the upper and lower mainspring bushings were both jeweled.

This is a beauty Spencer! This was in a lot? Mind if I ask what you got it for? Yup, if you look up top there are photos of the watch lot. I paid $322 for the whole lot. The watch had to be fully serviced, with new seals and a new crystal, but that's a small price to pay for something like this. This lot was the reason why I was desperately trying to raise cash a few weeks ago, by the way. Now you know!
