Just got back from a week away. I had a great time visiting family in Wisconsin.
I had a great time going to vintage shops, hoping to find watches, but no such luck. I did find a vase I liked.
I really have been contemplating how different shopping for vintage items are now compared to before easy access to ebay.
Anyway, happy to be home. I only brought one watch with me, and my apple watch. But I now see the need for bringing more than one...
I've come to the dark side.
Hugs to all of you. I missed the learning, and back and forth and following things.
Happy to be home!

Glad to see you are getting into the Seiko scene. It's a beautiful thing.

I am finally in the selling stage so I can get a watch that I have had my eyeballs on...
I can't wait to get to the restoring part... I have a few that I really want to see working beautifully.

You need to add a travel watch roll to your inventory DaughterSeiko (not enabling you or anything over here )
I have one of these and I love it. Seems to be very well made and a reasonable price. Comes in all kinds of colors and sizes too: Mirage Luxury Travel

Nice roll there Mr Richie Rich inboost
I go slightly down market with a waxed canvas roll from Amazon. Not great for watches that won't lie flat - so I just don't take those watches. Less than $20 for the roll, so I can make the sacrifice.

victor - the one thing your flat roll up doesn't do well with are integrated bracelets like we have on Casio G-Shocks or vintage metal straps like we have on M158-5000 world timers (both I took with me on a trip). Since they can't fold flat they need a pillow to loop around. Hey, they're on sale right now too! Is $70 too much for your $XXX watches to hang out in?

I know! I'm just yanking your chain.
Edit - or $60 w/ free shipping via Amazon.

Haha, I just took this roll with me to WA for a week. It's even got a center part for a cigar Trouble I find with it is that I cannot put any watches on bracelet in it - my wrists are too small at around 6.5". I also have the wrap/roll type (also in those photos), but find the abuse my nice watches on bracelet a little too much. To resolve the issue this time, I only took watches on a strap, leather band or nato... EDIT: I sent the World Traveller off in one of these Cheapo cases, and I think it might be the best single watch travel option. 3x would still be doable and smaller than my large roll www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X4ZB22J

OK inboost. The Mirage triple roll just arrived and it's pretty spectacular. If Tumi were to make a watch travel roll, I imagine it would look like this.
