Two new acquisitions..1976 Seiko 6306 + 1985 Seiko 7548-7010

Just got these in the mail.. a very nice early 6306 with a creamy dial and MINT hand set with no rot or hazing at all.. very happy. Will be a great resto. Also got a rare 200m 7548-7010 also with a VERY NICE dial and hand set. Shame there is a small dot around the 4 marker but i don't know whether to try a little damp cotton bud to wipe it or leave it. Will probably leave it to be safe. It's still very nice and clean.



Looking forward to getting both of these serviced and in rotation. The 6306 will get the barrel jewel upgrade done and the 7548 will get a centre jewel upgrade. Should last me a long time with those mods.

I couldn't help myself and had to take a closer look.. Still getting used to my new iPhone 15 pro camera but in person you cannot see any hazing or anything on the hands. It's unbelievable how nice they are. I'm very happy with this one considering the crystal looks like it was owned by a fellow welder..



I am tempted to use a spare movement's calendar ring though this one looks a bit funky.
