Did you ever find out what your dial back code was from Adrian? The watch was stolen in transit...  So sorry to hear. I've had 2 different watches stolen by German Customs officials. It stinks because they deny insurance claims. Did you at least get insurance money ? What a shame. |

I bought a March '69 -6000 some time ago and it's currently with Guy Jeffery. Guy has relumed it (dial matching the original and hands to match the bezel pointer) and added 2 extra jewels to the barrel arbor to address wear. After that it's going to Tom Hickman to get the original CRC polished. He took a dial date code photo and it's 92 so Feb '69. Quite excited to get this back. I have the correct Uncle bracelet waiting for its return. Photos are the watch after reassembly and the dial date code.   |
