The more Rolex service videos I see, they all seem to put the movement parts in a petrie dish, in some kind of cleaning solution, and then just brush them clean. No U/S. No spinning. Interesting!

That sure is a beautiful movement. The balance rate adjustments still look pretty scary to me. To add to the stress, where does a peon like me get a service guide or access to replacement parts? A Rolex service is probably always going to be above my pay grade...

Ya, you're right. I had mixed this up with many others I see online where they just put the parts in a shallow dish with some kind of cleaning fluid and brush them.... Will take me a bit now to find links
