I have a number of quartz testing machines and now that I have a QT-2100 that I like, I'm selling off this QT-77, which I have been using for a couple of years as my reference tester because it just works reliably. I get the same results from this machine that I do with the QT-2100. This tester will work with LCD digital quartz watches as well as Bulova tuning forks and I have tested those functions, which appear to be working fine, although I hardly ever used them. It is supposed to also work with mechanical watches but it needs a different microphone to work well on them and I don't have one, so I can't confirm that function works. The microphone is included and it works well. I replaced the cable because the original was noisy and cut out a lot. But since I've changed the cable, the microphone has never failed me. The unit has a reference signal output connector on the back to connect a QT-Adapter, a part that was used for testing dual-quartz 99xx series movements. I have a couple of QT-Adapters, which will be listed separately and when connected to the reference port, yield the same reading so I know the reference signal output is good. For sale is the QT-77 unit, a microphone, power cable, and a user manual (in Japanese). See photos for more info and feel free to hit me up with any questions. Asking $250 plus shipping. If you're not happy with it, return it at your expense for a full refund within 30 days. Thanks for looking and thanks to the admins.
